Nicht nur Ostdeutschen eröffnete der Mauerfall neue Welten. Auch für das Westberliner Paar Michael und Elke beginnt nach 1989 eine neue Zeit. Sie ziehen nach Brandenburg und bekommen sieben Kinder.
Michael grew up in a poor district of Berlin. He spent ten years of his life in correctional homes and jail. Then he met Elke. The couple moved to Lehnsdorf in Brandenburg (near Wiesenburg, Belzig), and had seven children in quick succession. The oldest is 18, the smallest 8 years old. And all of theme are doing sports. Many trophies adorn the dining room. Director Rosa von Praunheim portrays a happy family.
